Scaffolders in Bridgwater
This job was erected so the listed wall could be dismantled safely.
Before erecting our scaffolding we had to dismantle the scaffolding that had been there for years, this took a good part of our time as we were uncertain of how safe the wall was.
To further secure the wall we stripped the scaffolding and re-erected the scaffolding in 5m sections.
For protecting the public we used debris netting on the external face of the scaffolding because the monarflex sheeting wouldnt let the wind pass through and would act as a sail putting more pressure on the wall.
Once the scaffolding was complete a professional team came in and started dismantling the wall brick by brick in 2m heigh sections.
Wall was left at a safe and secure 2.5m heigh then the scaffolding was cleared.
